My name is Steph, and I have been running Nature Explorers for the last four years. I live in Bury St Edmunds with my daughter Amelia and husband Neil. We spend most of our time together in forests, parks and gardens and our shared love of being outside has taken us all around the UK to find new places to explore. We are home educating our daughter, and most of our learning takes place in forests. They offer an incredible environment for holistic learning, muscle development, teamwork and a deeper understanding of the natural world around us. We enjoy spending time in the woods both in peaceful solitude, but also with a diverse range of friends and family,  providing opportunities for socialisation, leadership skills, listening and problem solving.

I am a fully qualified Forest School Leader, and am also a qualified Human Toolbox Practitioner, Natural Mindfulness Guide, and have a Level 3 Outdoor Paediatric First Aid qualification and an enhanced DBS certificate for working with children. I am hoping to combine my Forest School training and wellbeing training to offer guidance for both children and adults in Nature Connection and the benefits of spending time in nature. I am not currently running sessions as I am busy working on a large project to deliver Nature Connection, Wellbeing and Education to West Suffolk, called West Suffolk Hive. In the meantime, I shall be using Nature Explorers to share our own journey of Nature Connection, and updates on local opportunities available to families.

I look forward to sharing some adventures with you and your family soon!
